Scampston Hall Wedding Photographer

Earlier this year I collaborated on a beautiful wedding editorial campaign at Scampston Hall, North Yorkshire.

Scampston Hall is a privately owned regency country house. It boasts beautiful architecture and stunning grounds. During the first part of the shoot we utilised the beautiful rooms and space with in the house before moving out to the magnificent walled gardens and palladium. I loved the beautiful floor to ceiling windows flooding light into the library and ceremony room. There is a romance of times gone by and I just adored all the old portraits hanging throughout the house. I stunning arched window at the top of the stair case was just perfect for us to shoot against, showing the dresses in all their glory.

The team behind the shoot includes bespoke dressmaker Elena Ferrara and local florist Kim Morgan, aka The Gatherer – both of whose creations are worthy of their place in a gallery, let alone a bridal shoot. Each dress has been hand sewn using finest silk fabrics. For the flowers, Kim expertly made her selection to complement the tones in the stately rooms at Scampston Hall.
