I’m interested in what happens beyond the obvious — the moments between moments, the subtle shifts in energy, the atmosphere in a room. Photographing a wedding well requires sensitivity, restraint, and the ability to respond instinctively as the day unfolds. That awareness sits at the centre of how I work.
With over fifteen years’ experience, I have an instinctive ability to read a room. I know when to step forward, when to fade into the background, and when to let a moment take shape naturally. Calm and unobtrusive, I allow couples and their guests to remain fully present while capturing the day thoughtfully.
My work is rooted in human connection, but never rigid. I value restraint and subtlety, yet I’m equally comfortable letting go when the energy shifts — whether that’s a high‑spirited dance floor, unguarded laughter, or moments of joyful chaos that deserve to be met with freedom rather than control. This balance between discretion and release is where the most honest, compelling art is made.
I photograph weddings with an editorial sensibility and a considered eye for light, composition, and mood — a perspective honed long before weddings through years in a studio environment, where precision, control, and visual discipline were paramount. That foundation now complements a social documentary approach: observing rather than directing, responding rather than imposing.
My lens is shaped by curiosity and culture — travel, art, fashion — alongside a keen attention to atmosphere, behavior, and the subtle ways people move through space. I explore how style and substance coexist; how images can feel composed yet instinctive, considered yet alive. The result is work that carries clarity and feeling in equal measure — refined without stiffness, expressive without excess. It’s a lens through which modern couples who value taste, atmosphere, and authenticity are seen.

‘We are absolutely lost for words – you truly are amazing. The photos are out of this world and we cannot stop looking at them! I’m not sure how it will be possible to choose favourites to be printed. I think we’ll have to hang them on every wall in the house!!! Cal looks like he’s straight out of a bond movie haha!
