Yorkshire Wedding Photography – Smallshaw Farm Marquee Wedding – Jenna and Ollie

Wow what can I say, I loved everything about Jenna and Ollie’s big day from all the gold, dusky pink, peaches and sparkles (Jenna so has the same taste as me) to all the happy, loving, smiling faces. As soon as I arrived for the bridal prep at Jenna’s mums home I felt like one of the girls and everyone was so welcoming and looked after me so well. This very pretty wedding was held in the breathtakingly beautiful Yorkshire on Smallshaw farm just on the edge of the peak district in a stunning marquee decked with sparkle. Smallshaw is immaculately kept and has views that are just stunning no matter what the weather – being a Yorkshire lass myself I love the dry stone walls and country air.

Jenna wore an amazing elegant dress finished with a pair of dusky pink Jimmy Choos. The whole look and style of the day was elegant with golds, peach, pinks and rose golds running through out. Oh and when I saw the floral heart and gold sparkly table runners •••swoon•••. The whole day was relaxed and Smallshaw was the perfect venue. I have also never seen a marquee decorated with a cream sparkly roof – which really did give a light airy atmosphere which complimented the sparkle from the gold. When we arrived at the farm a brass band were playing under the tree and it couldn’t have looked and sounded more perfect. I especially loved it when they played Barbie Girl on brass ha! Guests were treated to some amazing food provided by Friends For Dinner and then for the evening a wood fired Pizza van turned up….just amazing.

Also a shout out to the lovely husband and wife team Penny and Ed at Silver Sixpence films who really were completely unobtrusive in the way they worked and filmed and also really really lovely people. Cant wait to see the film and here is the link to their work. http://www.silversixpencefilms.com, if your looking for complete discreet documentation then look no further.

Lauren Sally crafted Jenna’s beautiful make up and relaxed hair, again Lauren is simply lovely to work with and very talented.  Jenna’s friend also created all of the amazing florals and that heart ….wow the floral heart. The gilt edge beautiful and classic stationary was by Thermofast.

Here is a super small selection of images captured on digital and film …….
