Joe & Jess are such a relaxed creative couple and it was such a joy to shoot their intimate day .

Bridal prep started early and so super relaxed and informal with just Jess and daughter Lois. Jess wore the most gorgeous beaded Needle & Thread gown, the perfect amount of sparkle. I loved seeing Jess & Lois’ special mother daughter bond on the morning in their family home.

After the civil ceremony guests headed to a beautiful secluded spot over in the picturesque valley of Sandsend.  The most magical humanist ceremony was held on the lawn with nearest and dearest partaking in a handfasting ritual. The rain started just after the ceremony and it didn’t matter one bit as good friends, family, food, and wine were waiting at the gorgeous Bridge cottage bistro, Sandsend. The bistro was styled and decorated perfectly by the brilliant Sophie Longhurst who also crafted Jess’ beautiful bouquet.
