Middleton Lodge is a private Georgian country estate in North Yorkshire and its easy to see why the gorgeous Flicity and Tom choose it for their wedding reception. Middleton lodge has beautiful period features inside and out and really is a fine example of beautiful Georgian design. The house was lovingly decorated with refined Autumn elegance by Flic and her mum. Painted pumpkins, rustic terracotta pots brimming with the most beautiful shades of purple succulent and maison jars with candles gave a warm inviting glow. Flicity & Tom have some seriously style and I knew when I first meet them it was going to be a super chic day (Flic is a Pinterest addict like myself)
Flic had the most amazing Maggie Sottero fairytale jewel encrusted dress from the wonderful Harrogate Bridal Lounge which just sparkled in the beautiful Autumnal light. Any Carrie Bradshaw fans out there……….. yep Flic purchased THOSE Manolo Blahnik shoes even before the dress. The bridesmaids wore Jenny Yoo for BHLDN which were so elegant and such a pretty colour.
The couple were married at Easby church, probably one of the prettiest churches I have ever seen and was also decorated by Flic which her flair for style with rustic wooden signs, eucalyptus, burlap and large candles giving that ambient, personal touch. After the church ceremony guests hopped onto the vintage bus back to Middleton lodge where the wonderful Val Boyers entertained with her stunning voice and guitar. We were lucky enough to have some crisp Autumn light – just perfect.
Here are a few images from the big day, enjoy.
