When you think of a London wedding photographer’s dream brief, this day was it. Flora & Tarquin celebrated their love in the most effortlessly chic way. A fashion-forward, intimate winter wedding at the iconic Chelsea Town Hall, followed by an elegant dinner at the legendary Daphne’s in South Kensington. Finished with a lively nightcap in a cosy Notting Hill pub surrounded by friends.
From the moment I arrived, London was dressed in its perfect winter palette — soft, diffused light, and the kind of city energy that feels both romantic and electric. Flora channelled pure It Girl London vibes in her breathtaking gown from The Fall Bride by designer Cassandra Graham — a piece that perfectly balanced modern sophistication with timeless elegance. Tarquin’s tailored style was the perfect complement.
Chelsea Town Hall provided the most classic backdrop — grand steps, sweeping architecture, and that unmistakable heritage charm. After their heartfelt ceremony, we strolled through the streets, capturing moments on a mix of analogue film and digital for a blend of authentic grain, rich tones, and modern clarity. The result? A gallery that feels editorial yet deeply personal.
Dinner was held at Daphne’s — a London institution with its warm glow, patterned interiors, and old-school glamour. Friends and family gathered for exquisite food, champagne toasts, and laughter that lingered into the night. With the chicest of tables capes by the Lay London girls with the all important mistletoe & bells.
As the evening drew on, Flora & Tarquin and their guests hopped on a red route master, true London style to a Notting Hill pub, where the atmosphere turned up a notch and more friends were waiting to party — the perfect way to end a day that was so quintessentially London.
