Lake Garda – Castello Scaligero di Malcesine
What can I say………………. this place, the colours, the architecture, the water, the light ahhhhhhhh beautiful beautiful Malcesine, Lake Garda.
Working in the wedding world over the past 8 years I have met some amazing inspiring people, who craft, create, encourage and their talents regularly blow me away. Sarah and Calum were some of the first people I ever met at a wedding fair many moons ago, when Sarah was also exhibiting her utterly gorgeous creations, which are now Blush Cakes, do check her out. I knew straight away we were similar and that we could have a good chat and giggle and I always loved bumping into each other at weddings over the years. I was super flattered when Sarah and Calum asked me to photograph their big day and then when they said it was going to be an intimate affair at beautiful Lake Garda, well I was beyond excited.
Super stylish Calum and Sarah had thought of all the little details that really let the Italian flair and atmosphere shine within their vision. I absolutely loved their gorgeous table plan and hoop with the photographs in – it was so lovely to see friends and family enjoying this and looking back at the old photographs of family around the informal dining. I obviously adore capturing all the details that reflect a couples taste, personality and style but ultimately I love capturing love, people, connections, emotions and happiness that a wedding day brings.
Shout out to my lovely friend too, Diana over at The Little Pearl, where Sarah found her stunning dress.
Here’s a super small selection from the day. Thank you so much Sarah & Calum for sharing your amazing day with me.
