The Hospitium is a beautiful 14th century building nestled in the heart of museum gardens York and is one of my favourite venues. No matter what time of year the Hospitium has a magical atmosphere with its stone pillars twinkling with fairy lights to the deep red walls upstairs. Nichola and Steven held their sophisticated winter luxe wedding at this stunning venue.
With black tie and pops of deep berry red it really was the hight of winter glamour. The elements and tones of berry red complimented the venue perfectly. Nichola looked beautiful in her dove grey Ian Stuart gown from the amazing Harrogate bridal lounge. The raw silk and delicate beading gave an extra vintage sparkle and was the picture of winter elegance. Nichola is also a lady after my own heart and had purchased two pairs of shoes for her big day but opted for the Reiss berry patent pair which just gave that extra bit of glamour.
We were lucky to have a dusting of frost in the morning followed by some glorious winter light, just perfect for a December wedding. We popped out for some gorgeous winter portraits to catch the last of the light while mulled wine was flowing.
