A very good team to have in your corner. Lucy wor A very good team to have in your corner.

Lucy works for Charlotte Tilbury, so having a brilliant hair and make-up team around her was always going to be part of the plan in France.

Working seamlessly meant we had plenty of time before the ceremony to photograph Lucy once the final look came together. No rushing, just time to enjoy the moment and create some beautiful portraits before the day really got going.

A little fashion, a little beauty, and the real life happening around it all.

It could only be the cut of an iconic @viviennewes It could only be the cut of an iconic @viviennewestwood for Bryony, at the one and only Euridge. And Euridge is one of those places where the setting does a lot of the talking too. Ancient stone, incredible gardens, water, ruins, beautiful food, people everywhere. There’s so much to photograph beyond the obvious.
This is also the kind of wedding photography I love most: fashion and atmosphere, but with plenty of real life in between.

Style without performance.

A little after dinner dancing when @apollolivemusi A little after dinner dancing when @apollolivemusic apollolivemusic brought the vibes........

The music started, the hands went up and suddenly dinner at Kin House was looking suspiciously like the beginning of a very good dance floor.
C & F wanted their wedding to feel like the best kind of party — generous, sociable and centred around bringing everyone together. Great food, long tables, brilliant music and plenty of time to actually enjoy it all with their favourite people.

They also went for a seriously good visual direction, transforming the wedding breakfast room with deep chocolate draping and sculptural florals. Modern, rich and a little unexpected.

And then, as you can probably tell from the first few frames, things escalated nicely…
More from this one soon.

A relaxed London summer wedding, and a reminder of A relaxed London summer wedding, and a reminder of why I love blending in.

This portrait of the groom? He had absolutely no idea I was taking it.

I’m happiest when I can move through a wedding almost unnoticed — close enough to see what’s happening, but without constantly interrupting it. I want people to forget about the camera and get on with being with the people they came to celebrate with.

There was plenty of direction when it was needed, but just as much space to let things unfold naturally. A little bit of elegance, a lot of fun, and all the in-between bits that make a wedding feel like your wedding rather than a photo shoot.

London in summer, good people, a very relaxed atmosphere and plenty going on.

All shot on a mix of digital and film
