Harrogate Wedding Photographer
Harrogate is such a stunning Spa town rich in history and beautiful architecture, it is also home to the iconic Betty’s tearooms.
Nina and Adam choose to have a small beautiful intimate ceremony surrounded by close family at Bilton house. After which followed a scrumptious afternoon tea at Betty’s.
“We chose the venue because we wanted quite a casual wedding and as register offices go, Harrogate’s is in an attractive setting. It is next to the famous Stray and the building itself, Bilton House, is also lovely.
We chose Betty’s because it epitomises Harrogate. We relocated here as a family from Whitby almost two years ago, the town is very precious to us. As a former reporter at the Harrogate Advertiser, where I began my career as a journalist. I have written lots of features and articles on Betty’s over the years and it is truly a magical business – so I knew they would look after us!”
The couple also selected some of Yorkshires finest to help make their day special. Blush pinks and muted tones set the scene with the absolutely gorgeous florals by my lovely friend Lucy MacNicoll . Lucy is based in Harrogate but works all over the UK and I cant recommend her enough. Lucy is so passionate and has a real talent, carefully selecting the finest blooms and colours she really does create such stunning bouquets and installations.
Nina and Ruby both wore handcrafted silk floral crown by the brilliant Michelle over at Shepherds Purse . Michelle also did Ninas makeup and again Michelle is one of my go to recommendations to all my brides. She is cruelty free which is something that is really important to me personally but also if you are a bride looking for that natural radiant look then Michelle is your lady.
