Yesterday i meet up with the lovely Lisa and Eytan in Rowntrees Park for their pre wedding shoot. Lisa wore a stunning red coat which looked fantastic agains all the lush greens in the park. It was a great little warm up for us before thier big day in a few weeks .

The Wedding Institute

On Sunday i had to pleasure of documenting this fabulous event created by The Wedding Institute. This creative and vintage wedding affair was the beautiful work of photographer and friend Becky Mitchell and the talented Vicky Trainor who creates stunning vintage inspired stationery who both set up The Wedding Institute.

I meet Stevie and Chelsea on one of my favourite beaches , Sandsend. Stevie and Chelsea are due to get married at Raithwaite Hall in Septemeber so the beach was an ideal location as it is a 3min drive from the venue. They also brought their gorgeous puppy along with them and we couldnt have asked for nicer weather.

Sarah and Andrew were married at the beautiful Hospitium located in Yorks stunning Museum Gardens. It was Friday the 13th and was very lucky undeed we had lots of lovely sunshine and were able to make the most of the gardens. Sarah had put alot of thought into her colour scheme and special details for the wedding and the stunning floral displays were produced by The Garden of Eden florists on Bootham. I particularly loved the potted greenery and white tulips as the table centre pieces.

Louise and Paul were married at the gorgeous Hazelwood Castle follwed by an evening blessing in the church in the grounds of Hazelwood. Hazelwood castle is a breathtaking venue with stunning grounds and it was a real treat to capture Louise and Pauls big day. Even the fog didnt spoil the atmosphere. Here is a small selection from the day…enjoy Louise and Paul x Also massive thanks to the staff at Hazelwood for being mega helpful and lovely.

Jo and James were married at the Mercure York, Fairfield Manor hotel which was a venue i had never shot before. The weather report wasnt looking to great and had forecast rain for most of the day but the rain stayed away and we got some great shots. Jo had really put alot of thought and planning into her day and it really showed with all her special touches from the table decor to the flowers and colours scheme.

Nancy and Steve were married at the gorgeous Hospitium, were they were joined by family and friends for a relaxed and intimate day. They were both great sports and barved the cold February weather to make the most of the stunning museum gardens.

This beautiful new venue has stunning gardens that create the perfect backdrop to your wedding images. Please come along to see the splendour 11.oo till 4.00. I love chatting to and meeting couples and will be bringing lots of sample albums and work for all future couples to see.
