Earlier this year I was lucky enough to shoot a beautiful wedding editorial campaign at Scampston Hall, North Yorkshire.
Scampston Hall is a privately owned regency country house boasting beautiful architecture and stunning grounds. For the first part of the shoot we utilised the beautiful rooms and space with in the house before moving out to the magnificent walled gardens and palladium.
Here is what Yorkshire Living Brides Magazine had to say:
‘Scampston Hall provides a stunning setting for this stately-home inspired bridal shoot
TIMELESS is the best word to describe this exquisite fine art shoot at Scampston Hall, one of the finest regency country houses in North Yorkshire, surrounded by English country gardens and Capability Brown parkland.
It is fitting that the final results look like works of art themselves – Scampston Hall is celebrated for its collection of fine paintings, furniture and porcelain.
The team behind the shoot includes bespoke dressmaker Elena Ferrara and local florist Kim Morgan, aka The Gatherer – both of whose creations are worthy of their place in a gallery, let alone a bridal shoot. Each dress has been hand sewn using finest silk fabrics and finished with intricate detailing. For the flowers, Kim expertly made her selection to complement the tones in the stately rooms at Scampston Hall.
North Yorkshire wedding photographer Georgina Harrison captures the artistic mood – offering inspiration to the modern bride on how to combine the very best of “something old, something new”.’
