One of my absolute favourite periods for architecture is the Georgian era. Middleton lodge is a fine example of Georgian splendour with its breathtaking staircase and stunning windows. Its no surprise that this stunning privately owned mansion was the backdrop for Ellie and James’ chic, quint essential English wedding. Ever window and fireplace at Middleton Lodge was filled with so much pretty. Antique silver trays, cut crystal glass jugs and old jars brimming with the prettiest of florals. Ellie and her mum had collected and sourced the most gorgeous details which complimented such a beautiful old building.
Ellie looked sublime in her Maggie Sottero gown and floor length veil. The soft tulle fabric flowed effortlessly and caught the light so beautifully. Ellie’s maid wore beautiful lilac and silver dresses which toned so well together. James and his grooms men looked dapper with a nod to the countryside with their tweed. The beautiful button holes and stunning bouquet were by the fabulously talented Darling & Green, mixing a wild and handpicked look . The gorgeous gold cake was by Fairy Cakes & Co with its beautiful gold and pink matching in with all the collected glass wear on the tables.
