York Wedding Photography
Ashley and Daniel had a chic city wedding in the heart of one of my favourite city’s. York is home to so many truly amazing historic buildings and Ashley and Daniels choice of the Hospitium nestled in Museum gardens is no exception. This historic building has some much character and charm with its beautiful stone pillars downstairs and wood beams upstairs.
The pretty pastel colour scheme with soft creams and apricots was perfect with the pop of navy for the stylish groom. Ashley looked flawless with natural makeup and her relaxed up do with gentle tumbling curls, created by the brilliant Marci.
Ashley hand crafted most decorations and all the invites for the day. Burlap jam jars with gypsophila twinkled in the light and the sun shone all day for us. Ashley even baked homemade marshmallows for her guests sweet treat favours.
In the early evening we took advantage of the beautiful light for some romantic portraits around the Museum gardens, enjoying the quiet winding paths towards the river.
The very pretty cake was by Sarah over at BabyCakes York and fitted with the pastel colours running throughout the wedding. Sarah is brilliant and her cakes always look incredible.
